The cars race side by side over a distance of 20 meters* (65 feet, 7.5 inches).

Just prior to a race, a pair of cars are staged at their respective launch pods.

*An additional two meters (seven feet) are allocated at the start end (behind the starting line) for pre-race staging, and another two meters are allocated at the opposite end for post-race parking.
